With the explosion in popularity of collecting wristwatches in the mid 1980s, company founder, Joe DeMesy pioneered the business of buying and selling pre-owned timepieces and was one of the first dealers to recognize the hobby's long-term potential. Subsequently recognizing that no price guides existed to help newer collectors identify and value Swiss and American watches, Joe teamed up with fellow dealer Roy Ehrhardt and co-authored a series of price guides which have become the standard reference for both collectors and dealers alike.

We have been in business since 1987 and our focus has always been the purchase, restoration, and sale of fine timepieces. We purchase only the finest contemporary and vintage watches. Our pre-owned watches are then carefully restored by our in-house watch technicians to ensure accurate and reliable timekeeping. We are respected members of the watch industry and belong to the following organizations: IWJG, Jewelers Board of Trade, NAWCC, Sothebys.com, The Dallas Chamber of Commerce and The Better Business Bureau.

Authenticity

We guarantee the authenticity of every watch we sell. We are always happy to provide a written guarantee of authenticity, upon request.

Return Policy

We want you to be absolutely satisfied with your purchase. Any PRE-OWNED watch purchased from us may be returned, in the same condition sold, and including all boxes, papers, books and accessories, within three (3) days from receipt. We ask that you notify us of your intention to return the watch and that you ship the merchandise back to our office, insured for the full purchase price, at your expense. Please call to make these arrangements. We cannot be responsible for lost packages. Upon receipt of the returned item, in the condition in which it was sold, we will refund the purchase price, less shipping.

DeMesy Fine Watches warranties all watches for one full year from date of invoice, unless otherwise indicated in the listing or invoice and with the exception of vintage and pocket watches. The warranty does not cover: cracked or broken crystals, water damage due to improperly tightened crown, or damage from abuse or misuse.

Unfortunately, NIB (New In Box) or UNUSED watches are not eligible for our return policy.

The return privilege does not apply to special orders or custom work.

Warranty

DeMesy Fine Watches warranties all watches for one full year from date of invoice, unless otherwise indicated in the listing or invoice, and with the exception of vintage wristwatches and pocket watches. The warranty does not cover: bands, batteries, cracked or broken crystals or water damage. Damage from abuse or misuse (knocks, dents, crushing) or tampering by unauthorized technicians, will render this warranty null and void.

All warranty repairs must be sent to our Dallas, Texas office for repairs. Please contact us at 800-635-9006 before sending your watch for warranty repairs.

This warranty is valid to the original purchaser only and may not be transferred.

We are not authorized dealers for any of the brands that we carry, including the Rolex Watch Company or its subsidiary, Rolex USA. Because we are not an authorized dealer, we can offer substantially greater discounts than authorized retailers.

Pricing Policy

Our collection of fine timepieces is priced very competitively. If you find a comparable watch on another website, we’ll try to meet or beat their price. Just provide us with the details.
