With the explosion in popularity of collecting wristwatches in the mid 1980s, company founder, Joe DeMesy pioneered the business of buying and selling pre-owned timepieces and was one of the first dealers to recognize the hobby's long-term potential. Subsequently recognizing that no price guides existed to help newer collectors identify and value Swiss and American watches, Joe teamed up with fellow dealer Roy Ehrhardt and co-authored a series of price guides which have become the standard reference for both collectors and dealers alike.
We have been in business since 1987 and our focus has always been the purchase, restoration, and sale of fine timepieces. We purchase only the finest contemporary and vintage watches. Our pre-owned watches are then carefully restored by our in-house watch technicians to ensure accurate and reliable timekeeping. We are respected members of the watch industry and belong to the following organizations: IWJG, Jewelers Board of Trade, NAWCC, Sothebys.com, The Dallas Chamber of Commerce and The Better Business Bureau.

Return Policy
We want you to be absolutely satisfied with your purchase. Any PRE-OWNED watch purchased from us may be returned, provided that you notify us of your intention to do so within three (3 ) days of receipt of the order, request a Return Authorization number, and return the item immediately, in the condition in which it was received, including all boxes, books, papers, hang tags, etc. The merchandise MUST BE RETURNED VIA UPS AIR EXPRESS (overnight), insured for the full purchase price. The Return Authorization number must be noted on the outside of the package. Any item returned without a Return Authorization number will not be accepted. We will not be responsible for lost packages. Upon receipt of the returned item, in the condition in which it was sold, we will refund the purchase price, less shipping.
Refunds sent via bank wire transfer are subject to bank service fees. All payments must be made in US dollars and will be refunded in US dollars. We are not responsible for and will not compensate for any fluctuations in exchange/conversion rates upon refunding payments. All bank wire payments will be refunded in full, less shipping fees and less bank service fees.
Unfortunately, NIB (New In Box) or UNUSED watches are not eligible for our return policy. This is to insure that what you are receiving is 100% unworn in factory original condition. We want you to know that these items have not been sent out, worn and returned. When you see any item listed as unused or new, you can be confident the piece you are receiving is in factory mint condition.
The return privilege does not apply to special ordered items or items that have been customized at the customer’s request. All custom or special orders are final.

Orders that have been placed and processed via credit card or bank wire, but canceled prior to shipment will incur a 5% restocking fee.

Warranty
DeMesy Fine Watches warranties all watches for one full year from date of invoice, unless otherwise indicated in the listing or on the invoice and with the exception of vintage wristwatches and pocket watches. This warranty does not cover accessories, boxes, bands, batteries, or cracked or broken crystals. Custom work, alterations and/or repairs done without written acknowledgement by DeMesy Fine Watches, tampering by unauthorized technicians, damage from abuse or misuse, negligence, accidents (knocks, dents, crushing), or water damage due to improperly tightened crown, will render this warranty null and void.
Each piece of quality estate jewelry as well as contemporary fine jewelry pieces sold by Demesy Fine Watches & Jewelry is meticulously inspected and described as accurately as possible. Both pre-owned and new jewelry items come with our 30-day warranty against defects in manufacturing only and expressly excludes coverage for excessive wear and tear and/or physical/accidental abuse, loss and theft. Improper repair or warranty service performed by someone other than DeMesy & Co., LTD. will void this warranty.
All warranty work must be sent to our Dallas, TX office for repairs. The warranty does not cover wholesale/dealer orders.
