Goerge Borgfeldt was the first company to hold exclusive licensing for character toys. From 1928 to 1935 Borgfeldt held the exclusive licensing for Mickey & Minnie Mouse, Felix the Cat, Toonerville Trolley, Barney Google & Spark Plug, Buttercup, Jiggs and Maggie.
