Patek Philippe

Patek Philippe

Pre-Owned & Vintage Patek Philippe

Watchmaker Antoni Patek began making pocket watches in 1839 in Geneva. In 1845 he joined with the French watchmaker Adrien Philippe. Together they founded Patek Philippe & Co. in 1851 and made the first wrist watch in 1868, going on to create the perpetual calendar, split seconds hand, chronograph, and the minute repeater.

Since 1932 Patek Philippe & Co., has been owned by the Stern family and produces about 40,000 watches annually. Unrivaled in the horological world, and referred to as the Rolls-Royce of watches, many collectors consider the brand to be recession proof. Patek Philippe timepieces have sold at auction for some of the highest prices recorded. Some models produced as recently as 1950 can sell for over a million dollars.

The Patek Philippe collection includes the Calatrava, Annual Calendar, LaFlamme, Travel Time, World Time, Twenty-4, Golden Ellipse, Nautilus, Calendario Gondolo, Aquanaut as well as the Grand Complications and Celestial.
