Pre-Owned Rolex Datejust Watches

The Rolex Datejust is the definitive dress watch of the twentieth century, introduced in 1945 as the first self-winding waterproof wristwatch to display the date in a window at 3 o'clock. Its signature Cyclops lens, added in 1953, magnifies the date 2.5 times and remains one of the most recognized design elements in horology. Over eight decades, the Datejust has been produced in an extraordinary range of sizes, metals, and dial configurations. The ref. 1601, 16013, 16233, and 116234 are among the most collectible pre-owned references, spanning Jubilee and Oyster bracelets, two-tone and full yellow gold cases, engine-turned bezels, and the full spectrum of Rolex dial artistry — champagne, slate, linen, mosaic, and meteorite. The 36 mm Datejust and its 41 mm successor, the Datejust 41, continue to anchor the Rolex lineup. Pre-owned Datejust models offer remarkable entry points into the Rolex universe, with wide availability across reference numbers and price ranges. DeMesy & Co. in Dallas has been sourcing, authenticating, and selling pre-owned Datejust watches since 1987, bringing decades of expertise to every transaction.
