The Rolex Pearlmaster, sold under the Masterpiece collection designation, is the brand's most opulent and jewelry-forward timepiece, created as the ultimate expression of Rolex's lapidary arts. Introduced in 1992, the Pearlmaster is distinguished by its exclusive Pearlmaster bracelet — a seven-link design with broad, rounded links that originated in the Lady-Datejust Pearlmaster before expanding across sizes. The collection is produced exclusively in 18-karat gold or platinum, and bezels are set with diamonds, sapphires, rubies, or emeralds in a range of configurations including the iconic WaveSet, channel-set, and pave arrangements. Dial materials span meteorite, mother-of-pearl, onyx, and precious stone panels that blur the line between watchmaking and jewelry. The 34 mm and 39 mm case sizes serve both women's and men's markets, and pre-owned references including the 81339, 86348, and 86409 represent the pinnacle of secondary market Rolex. Each Pearlmaster is individually assembled by Rolex's gem-setting specialists. The combination of precious metal, gem-setting craftsmanship, and mechanical precision makes the pre-owned Pearlmaster a genuinely rare find. DeMesy & Co. in Dallas has been authenticating and sourcing pre-owned Rolex Pearlmaster and Masterpiece pieces since 1987.
