Jaeger-LeCoultre

Jaeger-LeCoultre

Pre-Owned & Vintage Jaeger- LeCoultre

Since its inception, the company has registered about 400 patents and produced over 1200 different calibers and created hundreds of inventions. One of the standouts of the line is the world’s thinnest repeater, introduced in 2014, it had 8 patents and production was limited to only 75 pieces. Also of note is the Atmos clock, invented in 1928 by Swiss engineer Jean-Leon Reutter, with a near-perpetual movement. It derives energy from small changes in the temperature and atmospheric pressure and can run for years with no human intervention.

The Memovox watch, introduced in 1950, was followed by the Memovox Deep Sea and Polaris, which would later inspire the current Master Compressor and AMVOX lines. JLC also produced the Mystery watch with seemingly invisible hands. One of the collections Jaeger-LeCoultre is probably most noted for is the Reverso, available in many different models and styles, including such masterpieces as the Reverso Tourbillon and Reverso Minute Repeater. Jaeger-LeCoultre watches are recognized as being the very finest watches available, and evidenced by their creation of the Hybris Mechanica Grande Sonnerie, which may be the most complicated watch in the world with 26 complications.

If you’re considering purchasing a Jaeger-LeCoultre wristwatch, rest assured, you are making an excellent choice.
